To guarantee a smooth and quality-assured production process, we exclusively accept print-ready PDF files. Native CAD or vector formats (e.g. DWG files or open project files) cannot be processed directly due to compatibility and data security requirements.
Accurate Scale
Your PDF file should be prepared in the required final format and at the correct scale (e.g. 1:100, 1:50, or 1:200). Please avoid applying any scaling in the print dialog. The file should be print-ready to ensure that line weights, dimensions, and title blocks are reproduced accurately.
Clean Line and Layer Rendering
Line weights should be clearly defined to ensure they are visible in print. Extremely thin hairlines may not reproduce correctly. Before exporting, check transparencies, overlapping elements, and unresolved layer effects. A clean PDF ensures accurate rendering and delivers a professional print result.
Embedded Fonts
All fonts used in the PDF must be embedded. Missing or non-embedded fonts may cause text to display incorrectly or be automatically substituted, which can affect dimensions, labels, and other plan annotations. Most CAD and layout applications include an option to embed fonts when exporting a PDF.
Color Specifications
Colors should be defined correctly, preferably in the RGB or CMYK color space. Very light gray tones or low color densities may appear faint in printed plots. For important markings, we recommend using sufficient contrast to ensure maximum readability and clarity.
Consistent Print Results
Submitting your files as PDF ensures they are printed exactly as intended, regardless of the operating system or CAD software used. As a standardized file format, PDF provides maximum compatibility and consistent print results—especially for large projects and recurring plan revisions.
