The Sony Center at Potsdamer Platz is one of Berlin’s most iconic architectural landmarks, renowned for its spectacular roof structure spanning the central plaza. Dresdner Bahn
The Dresdner Bahn project is the reconstruction and expansion of the historic railway line between Berlin Südkreuz and Blankenfelde Station. Its objective is to create a fast and high-capacity rail connection linking Berlin’s main rail network with Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) and continuing onward to Dresden. The project includes the construction of new long-distance railway tracks, the removal of level crossings, and the lowering of sections of the line—particularly in Lichtenrade—to improve noise protection, traffic flow, and safety.
